@Siutsch Any tips for using the Video Player. I've used the uninstaller and reinstalled multiple times (all versions of the tweak except for 1.47). I can find Videos on my USB /Movies folder and once I press play there is a brief delay and it seems that the app is trying but no video or audio actually start. I've used my main music USB and a dedicated USB with video files in a folder named /Movies. Many thanks!!

I have this problem many times too

I only can play videos sometimes, if I only have plugged in the movie stick, the mp3 stick has to be unplugged and the system has to be rebooted without mp3 stick.

If you have onyl a few videos on your movie stick and no other stick with much mp3s on it, then it should work.

But as I said, I need severel attempts too, if I can play a video.
But then I can play all videos on the stick.

Castscreen problems

Hallo everyone! I've installed tweaks of Castscreen into MZD,installed Castscreen app into my phone (Android 6.0), turned on debbuging mode, conected phone to USB port, taped Castscreen icone, set parameters and... nothing poperly. What did I wrong? How could I obtain the IP of my MZD? Is IP 127.0.0.1 correct for connection to MZD receiver? :frown2:

i get the following error when i click on choose.cmd

a box pops up with "language info"

in the box is displayed:
"detected country is 27, which is unknown"

i have tried adjusting region and Language to UK on windows but this does not help.

any ideas??

"The system cannot find the path specified."

after unzipping the file the "choose" file only shows files "lang" and "more_background-images"
viewing it in winzip pro shows more files? - are these files hidden?

Yes, some folders are hidden.

Country code 27 is South Africa?

If there is no translation available, then AIO should use English as default.

If you want to change to a translated language, then you can choose "7" and the language of your choice.

Or what is the problem?

Anybody else ever stumbled upon this? Sometimes when I go to the Speedometer app, I get this Drive Record app instead. Am I seeing part of a custom app, or a built in app that isn't usually shown? Whenever I back out and click Speedometer again, it opens fine.

I've never clicked on it as I didn't want to fiddle around while driving.

NA maps (although SD card is out right now) (also to note I've been getting lag on the voice commands since I installed Speedometer)

Also, occasionally the HD traffic app disappears from the list, but adds itself when I go back to the apps list. So maybe this is all connected?

What FW version do you have? Does it happen when you start the app? How many mp3s do you have?

I have some delay to show again the list of videos when I reenter the app, when I change to another app after showing the list. I also have about 7000 mp3 files on my first drive.

I will make a debug version to look at this.

Sorry I don't have much time lately to take a look at this .....

I get that when i click on android on auto too quickly on boot up

same problem. established through the AIO, All posts were successful. too, all at the log file successfully.APK to phone installed, parameter setting, try the server mode. I tried localhost or 127.0.0.1. press the Start and.... nothing poperly

Sometimes it don't find any video and the spinner totates the whole time.

You can use attached file. Please rename it as tweaks.sh. And copy to USB disk with

cmu_dataretrieval.up​

dataRetrieval_config.txt​

jci-autoupdate​

files.
While CMU connected to any network via wifi/hotspot/USB eth. Use USB to tweak it.
IP address(es) and MAC address(es) of CMU shown on display and also logged to info_about_OS.txt in USB root.

Movies are 50/50 for me as well, but I just reinstall* the app it help.

Hello Siutsch and everybody.
I write some shell codes to improve/enhance the functionality of AIO.
I hope would be useful.

- Compressed backups of Linux critical folders and some folders which tweaks may made modifications.
- IP and MAC address identification.
- running process list in CMU
- full directory structure-permissions-dates-sizes
- list of executable commands
- the values of non-volatile memory flags
- mounts points
- disk usage
- network info
- fw (iptables) info
- ttymxcN registers (I think these are semi intelligent serial devices of car. GPS device may be N=2.)

It is attached, enjoy.

Note: I couldn't attach zipped form of this file. I got an error "tweaks.zip is too large. Max allowed: 0KB". ".sh" is not a valid extension. So attached as .txt. Please rename it. :wink:

Wow, this is impressive. What’s the next step for AIO? Carplay is more and more sounding like something we should have had in the past. Can anyone link Waze to AIO?
