@ShaneR46 : There are many ways. Deletion of the backups folder might not be necessary. But I would delete all files at the usb drive, go to AIO and select the tweaks which I would like to uninstall (red marking instead of green), compile it, copy it to the usb stick and stick the usb stick in the car. Uninstall process will follow. Hence you uninstall the tweaks, the backup folder at the usb stick is not necessary anymore. Once you install tweaks again, there will be a backups folder at the usb drive again I guess.

Thanks, @Tristan-cx5. I wasn't sure if the system needed to replace files from the backup during uninstall, it wasn't very clear why that folder was there. Everything seems to have worked fine. Having trouble getting AA to start consistently, but that's another post....

@Tristan-cx5 AIO is version is 2.8.4 and firmware (2016 cx-3) is 55.00.753.

All that said, AA seems to be starting fine at this time. For now. Last night I kept getting "can't connect to headunit process". Today, after install, It appeared it was going to do the same (after starting up once right after install), but it now seems to be OK...based on just limited testing, mind you.

It's almost like the system doesn't like the phone to be disconnected and then reconnected without the headunit/vehicle first being powered off or...as strange as it sounds....walking away from the vehicle with the phone for a little bit.

Anyway...It seems ok now...I'll need to use it for a few days to see.

Thanks.
@ShaneR46 : Which AIO AA version do you use and which MZD firmware version? Perhaps someone has a good idea on how to help with this info... like using an older or newer AIO AA version or updating the MZD firmware... who knows.

Hey Guys,
Ive read a bunch of this thread but cant seem to find the answer to my question,

I have a 2017 CX9 with version 70, i'm wanting to upgrade to the Mazda AA retrofit kit but it seems that only works with the physical phone USB connection.

Is it possible to use the OEM Mazda AA retrofit kit and the Mazda AIO Tweeks to set the headunit to Wifi AP mode and make the Mazda AA retrofit kit work via WIFI?

I do not know if this tweak works at a Toyota Yaris. Perhaps it would be better to ask this question in a Toyota Yaris forum. This forum is about Mazda 3.

Or try the search with "yaris" - here is someone who said that AIO tweaks work at a Yaris.

Да. там идентичная магнитолла! Но я бы рекомендовал поставить Европейскую прошивку от Мазды.
Друг ты можешь мне сказать прошить надо или можно просто установить видеоплеера

If all you need is a video player, you can run Smart MZD Player on pre 59.00.502 using software found here and a phone app. I tried it before using AIO tweaks and it worked very well. But it is not a good idea to watch porn while driving!

Если вам нужен только видеопроигрыватель, вы можете запустить Smart MZD Player до 59.00.502, используя программное обеспечение, найденное здесь, и приложение для телефона. Я попробовал это перед использованием настроек AIO, и это работало очень хорошо.a
