My 05 a few weeks ago when the a/c or defroster cuts in the car loses power it’s a 5 speed but when you shit at first there is no power then suddenly it kicks in, does this also with the defroster on. The ac has not been working it blows cool for about a minute then gets warm. Anybody seen this before?

Not specifically, but I've replaced (and diagnosed) a few AC systems. Sounds to me like the compressor is seizing/failing. The reason is that the accessory belt drives the compressor directly (or rather, through an electronically controlled clutch). If the clutch were bad, then you'd Never get cold, so it's locking up and spinning the compressor. But that the engine bogs means there's an unusual load, and you stop getting cold, is what leads me to that diagnosis.

At 14 years, it's not beyond reason that it's failing. I had to replace the same in a 2003 vehicle in 2017. It's a DIY job if you have basic wrenching skills, though you do need 2 special tools. A vacuum pump and AC manifold, I suspect they can be "rented" from auto-parts stores (normally you pay full price and then get a full refund when returned). If not, take it to an AC specialist.

In the mean time, stop even trying to use AC as you may well be doing more damage (increasing the number of parts that will need to be replaced). Always smart to replace everything when there's a failure in that system, so you don't have an early death on the replacement parts, but if money's tight you might be able to get away with replacing Just the compressor and dryer so long as you don't keep pushing the system to the Complete failure point.
