I just bought a 2017 Mazda 3 Grand Touring Sedan. I noticed on a few hot days we have had left here in California that the A/C seems to cycle on and off quite often. The temperature is constantly going up and down 5 to 7 degrees. It is getting cold. I thought the Mazda would have a Variable Compressor that would not cycle often. Does anyone else notice their compressor cycling often too?

I figured it is probably normal for this car but just wanted to check. my other 2 cars a VW and a Hyundai Compressors are Variable control compressors that run continually but I know each manufacturer is different.
