Same as youOnly thing I'd want is AWD and turbo available in manual. I'd sell my 3rd gen for that any day.
So when is US going to get 2023 models ?

The rpm for max HP/Torque didn't change so that was not the change. Unless they release further details we will not know.Does anyone has any details into what they actually changed on the engine? does it just rev higher to achieve 5HP more or did they do any mechanical changes to have the torque on a wider band?
For 2023, the Mazda3 receives enhancements to the naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine, now capable of 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque with either regular 87 octane or premium 93 octane fuel. The updates result in a five horsepower increase and an increase in overall fuel efficiency.
"updated cylinder-deactivation technology designed to be more efficient in specific operating conditions". This was the intent of the original CD and look at the issues reported with it. Time will tellUS details have been posted now. 2.0L has been dropped and it sound like the CD is more efficient now....
I have a '19 GT 2.5 MT with CD and it's fine. It does let itself be known when it's active on a smooth road. Introduces a bit of low frequency vibration in the car. Only I notice it, passengers don't. With the Corksport ABE, it does change tone quite noticeably also. All of the 2.5L models have CD in Canada except the two turbo offerings.. a manual with CD? Weird..

MazdaUSA now shows the 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback. The only manual 6 sp is now the FWD turbo.Surprised at the very few changes or additions. Power to the 2.5L was already decent for the class...
Sorry, this is in ERROR. I jumped a column when reading the specs. 6sp manual is still only in the Premium hatchback.MazdaUSA now shows the 2023 Mazda 3 hatchback. The only manual 6 sp is now the FWD turbo.
