Just purchased a white '21 Mazda 3 Turbo Premium Sedan.
Stock it came with 215x45x18 all season tires (my understanding is the stock black wheels are 7" wide, 45mmOffset).
My plan is to keep the stock wheels and tires for winter use only

For summer use:
I am about to order 18x8 (45 mm offset) Enkei wheels, machine cut / black accent.
Based on comments from others I believe that a 235x40x18 performance summer tire (General G-MAX RS) will be a good fit and nice upgrade?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone else who has gone with 235x40x18s on an 8" wide wheel?
Photos would be awesome - Thanks in Advance!

Check your stock wheel offset. My 2018 GT uses 18x7 ET50 wheels with 215/45 tires. I upgraded to 18x8 ET50 BBS wheels with 235/40 Michelin tires, to match both the wheel offset/scrub radius and tire diameter/revs per mile, with no fitment issues. I'm confident that ET45 wheels would also fit my car, without modification.

I recently purchased 18x8 Sparco DRS wheels and BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S Plus tires in 235/45x18 and absolutely love the car now. The amount of grip they give is quite honestly impressive. When I first saw them, they look like snow/off-road tires. But once installed on the car, it makes the car look so much better.
