Hello I have a 2018 Mazda 3 sport with almost 40k miles. My battery was dead after 3 days of sitting the other day. Nothing was left on. I jumped it and took it to 2 diff shops to test the battery. They both said everything passed except the voltage and I needed a new alternator so I decided to take it to Mazda so they can test it. If it needed a new alternator it is covered by my extended 100k mile warranty. They sent me a video a couple hrs later saying the car passed all the tests and it just needed to charge it overnight. I told them what the shops told me and they said they ran a thorough test and it passed. They decided to hold the car overnight and test it again. I just hope this issue doesn't happen again

Sure nothing was left on? You really need to do a switched off, current draw test to make sure there's no hidden electrical leaks.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I'm positive nothing was left on. Mazda still has my car and I haven't heard back from them yet
