@Road Trip Nicely done sir! Let the mod races begin!! I'm kind of interested to know if I can somehow get the front air dam for a 2017 retro-fitted on a 2016 -- no particular reason though, it just looks as if it's been designed slightly different. I'm also very interested to see the sedan rear diffusor on the 2017s -- I haven't seen one yet, but it sounds like it too has been redesigned (Google turned up nothing)

<Removed as to not add confusion>

Cannot wait to see your 3 all done!!!

Oh, and if I could add: I believe the paint code for the Aero kit is A3F - Brilliant black; not to be confused with 41W - Jet Black. They are in fact two different colors.
Thanks @Chazzy J for the note about the different paint codes. Have a meeting with the Parts Manager tomorrow and will see if he yet has the 2017 accessory parts "computer catalog." When I talked with him last three weeks ago, he thought he would have it by the end of February If so, I will post back here with what we learned. Also going to explore a couple of other things and if worthy, will also share here.

We will also look at the front air dam codes for 2016 and 2017, seeing if we can confirm that they are or are not different in any other way other than the top color inserts (which I am calling "blades" until we forum members collectively come up with a better name).

From @USCTrojan4JC's previously leased car, here are the silver bladed ones:

@Chazzy J, the rear bumper for U.S. MY2017 Mazda3 4-door is the same as MY2014-2016. The part is the same.

All, I just downloaded some instructions for the U.S. MY2017 Mazda3 Front Air Dam from the Accessories eCatalog all of your Mazda dealers have access to. I will email them to Road Trip.

With all the info provided/linked above thanks to USCTrojan4JC and Chazzy, and after meeting with my dealership Parts Specialist, I have confirmed that the front air dam for the 2016 has different part numbers from the 2017's front air dam.

And separately I confirmed using part numbers, what most of us would predict, that for 2016, that the sedan's front air dam is identical to the hatchback's front air dam; and, not surprisingly that for 2017 also, that the sedan's front air dam is identical to the hatchback's front air dam.

All of the Appearance Package parts 2014, 2015 and 2016 were painted Brilliant Black (paint code A3F); however, starting with the 2017 model year, the black paint itself has changed for all five AP parts, and is now "Jet Black" -- paint code 41W. [How the two differ visually, I have not a clue.]

The actual P/N's are thus different for the 2017 front air dam compared to the 2016:

2016 P/N = QBMN-50-AH0-PZ (Brilliant Black: A3F)

For 2017, there are two options for front air dam, as follows:

1) 2017 P/N = QBM2-50-AH0-51 (Jet Black: 41W). This one is solid black.

2) 2017 P/N = QBM2-50-AHO-S5 (Jet Black with Silver Accents)

Do you know if the black inserts in the front air dam pop out to be replaced by the silver ones. My dealer didn't consult me before installing the all black air dam on my 2017 Mazda3 5-foor GT MT yesterday. The silver is so much better

Sorry but for the front, they are thermoplastically welded together. My body shop, which are masterful, showed me how they would be impossible to separate, and thus they taped/fine-line taped, then painted my inserts (which some of us call "blades") Soul Red as I wanted -- mimicking what is offerered in Japan as an accessory but not here.

Also please note that to paint over the black to get to silver, they are going to have first prime, then paint the silver you wanted. I would politely tell your dealer, that is not what I wanted, you did not consult me when there were/are two options offered by Mazda, not what I am paying for, send them back, and order me the silver ones.

For the rear, the horizontal strip can be easily unscrewed from the back painted easily, re-screwed together.

Best of luck.
