Can you enter your own route or do you have enter a starting and end point and let the Navigation application select your route?

You can add waypoints, or you can set different criteria for routes - easiest, quickest, shortest.

You are also able to avoid streets of the planed route. Just plan your route, go to the route settings and somewhere there is a point where you can avoid streets (e.g. because they're closed).

Can you save prescribed routes? If so how many and I assume I name them what I want? I ask because I see the cards on eBay for a deal.

I was hoping you can save preferred routes which my old TomTom does. Mazda's nav system doesn't have this function which is major drawback in their design of the nav system.
