I've recently bought a used 2015 Mazda 3 with a very generic instrument cluster (Only has speedometer and blinkers). I'm wanting to replace it, but first I need to know if there's something I need to do beyond simply plugging in a different one.

You will need to program it to match your options/features and set the odometer.

Forscan can do the programming, but you need a specific tool to set the odometer.

Hi! I would like to replace the plexi lens of the instrument cluster in a 2017 Mazda3. I have removed the instrument cluster unit already. Now it's front cover has to be removed in order to reach the lens attachment points. But the front cover is clipped into place with several hooks. How can I remove this front cover? I really don't want to break or scratch anything. Can I release these hooks by hand or do I need any tool? How can it be done?
