Hey all. I'm new to the Mazda 3 and recently got a personal lease one from 2014. It had low miles and really nice inside so I decided to give Mazda a shot. My main question right now is about the seals around the doors. I took it to a car wash and noticed water collected on the car outside of the seal. Is this normal? I did not notice any water getting in the car, but I'm curious if this is normal for the water to be where it is in these photos.

Can't see a lot of detail in these photos but as long as the water is outside of where the seal would be, you're ok. Parts inside of the seal line would be something that needs to be looked at.

Not sure if this will help. It is just from the area outside of the seal where the door closes.

There's no seal in place to prevent the water from collecting in the area you point out, so it's fine.
