Hey, I was wondering how to smoke/tint the headlights of the 2014+ because they have weird angles. I tried doing it at first, but it ended up creasing and just being a general mess. If anybody has any tricks or tints that are under 30 bucks, send my way. Thanks in advance!

I though about doing it then decided not to because of the angles. Also it will lower your headlight’s output.
I went ahead and bought carbon fiber eyebrows instead. A much better choice. You can try and smoke out the rear lights. That would look good, I’m planning on doing that when it’s a bit warmer.

Tail light tint is okay because it's a bright red light in the rear of your car, but even that needs to be done to a light degree.
I don't recommend ever tinting the headlights of your car though. You're seriously diminishing the output of light from your main source of light seeing ahead. I'd leave it stock.

Personally, I am not a fan of even tinting rear lights. In this world of ever increasing law suits, all that is needed if someone rear ends you with your tinted tails, is our claim for damages, especially if an expensive medical injury component to you or your passengers, is for our reduced-output light tails to come to the attention of a sharp LEO investigating the accident, a lawyer or the insurance company’s claims adjuster.
Let alone if in the fog or smoke or whatever, if your dimished-appearing tinted tails caused someone to hit you when they might not have if you have bright OEM complete tail lights...
I have done 35+ mods to my car, but call me too cautious, or whatever, but tinting my tails is not one of them. In fact prior to my recent new cars having OEM brighter LED tails, in the last decade, I would mod my earlier cars to increase by taillight brightness to reduce someone running into me.

Even with HIDs, the output is severely hindered when even slightly smoking headlights. Tail lights are an at your own risk type of thing, but it's a risk I've taken before. Best thing would be to grab a second set of tail lights, tint them for your looks, then only run them during car meets, car shows, etc.

CK Wraps is probably the most helpful source for any vinyl wrapping tips and tricks. Here he does it for the sedan but the lights are pretty similar for the hatch. I installed the hex light smoke vvivid and it looks good and isn't dark enough to be concerning. It took about half an hour to do.
