Hi all,

I'm curious to know if there are any difference between 2014 vs 2017 chassis? The length of the body?

I really like this one 2017 hatchback that had been modified and want to know if my 2015 model can do the same mods.

Same chassis. Slight aesthetics refresh in bumpers, steering wheel, cup holders and E-brake.

Some mechanical difference like steering & headlights, but mostly the same. I had a 2014 and now 2017.

The 2017 and 2018 is very similar to the 2014-'16 models, they're just a little more refined.

Everything just works a little better in the latter year models.

My backup camera glitched in the 2016..not now.

Loss of a manual brake kind of sucks..but the e-brake auto disengages when you engage the clutch, which is nice.

The adaptive LED lights are really nice in the newer models.

The loss of the textured portion of the rear bumper is a nice touch too. It started looking dirtier on my 2016 as it was aging.

The pop up speed display glitched in my 2016 pretty regularly. It hasn't failed to actuate once in the 2018.

Not a huge plus..but the radar cruise control is nice on long trips.

The smart city braking, lane departure and speed limit and sign recognition are a nice bonus. They all work together with the pop up display too.
