Hi all,
I have recently purchased a second hand 2013 Mazda3 Skyactiv 2.0, this is already my third mazda3 since the 1st gen, i love all the new stuff especially the 'Advance key' and the 'i-stop'.
The sales person (not from original Mazda dealer)had my original battery replaced for free right before delivering the vehicle, however, i am now experiencing issues with the amber i-stop flashing, i have read thru some of the posts here and have tried to reset and relearn the i-stop function, indeed, the flashing amber i-stop light did go off, but then it started flashing again on the other day.
I then started thinking this might be due to an incorrect battery, so i checked the battery under the hood and it's Panasonic Q-55 type battery (stated also for Start/Stop Engine), however, it states on the use manual that only Q-85 type battery should be installed.
now, my question is, what is the difference between Q-55 and Q-85? could it be the possible cause that the amber flahing i-stop keeps returning after resetting ?
thanks guys.
