most manufacturers do not, but many of the dealers will since they don't care about you or your cars best interests. "it cleans it all out" is usually the line. well yeah but when you dislodge stuck dirt, metal shards and other debris in the transmission by flowing fluid through it goes through everything including valve bodies and the tcm solenoids which have very small thin channels and the valve body looks like an ant maze the channels can be so small and run everywhere, chucks of debris in here can mean transmission death, not good, a drain and fill is much more pleasant for the transmission as it does not disrupt the valve body and as you drive the new fluid will naturally clean the internals instead of force cleaning, its like if you where to take a 3000psi pressure washer to your paint the results would be horrifying.Hi again.I have been browsing the Jaguar forum this evening and guess what! They do not recommend flushing the gearbox. So thumbs up.
and a flush does not use the same flow rate the transmission does while operating it goes at a higher pressure so this is what harms the mechanical pieces
