Hey guys,

My 2011 mazda 3 sedan 2.5L 6speed is currently at 88k miles.
I recently started having 2nd gear grinds (only 2nd gear) more often, and every once in a while.
I did some googling and searching in this forum and it seems that its a common issue for the mazda 3.
I just want to create my own thread and confirm if changing to a better transmission fluid, (and possibly after market motor mounts) will fix the 2nd gear grind issue.
Another thought is if its worth getting new spark plugs just because my car is getting higher mileage.

Update: here are the 2 brands I am planning to go, Redline for Trans fluid, and NGK Iridium for Spark Plugs
MTL® 75W80 GL-4 Gear Oil
NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug (4344)
I am planning to get JBR rmm, and passenger mm

But I am still open to suggestions for other Trans fluid and spark plugs.

Thanks all!
