For anyone else looking for "winter tires" or how they can or will look. I recently got Elbrus 17x7.5 rims,and 215/50R-17 Bridgestone Blizzack WS70 Xl Tires Plus sensors for my 2011 Speed 3. Have included some pics so you all can get an idea of the look. Enjoy

Another set of winter wheels...

Just wanted to add another positive verification on another wheel option..

I just purchased a used full set of snow tires on Mazda 17" rims from a 2004 RX-8 (for $400). Tires are Pirelli Snowsport 225/50/17 and they fit great with no rubbing. (Mentioning this because I read some posts where they suggested you would need to go to a 40 or 45 sidewall to fit). They are about 1" bigger diameter than my 225/40/18s according to online tire calculator. So speedo is off by about -1 mph.

Not sure if these Mazda rims were stock from his car, since I don't see a 17" option for a 2004 RX-8. But they seem to work great. (Let me know if you can identify them.)

Of course they don't have TPS so I have to deal with having that yellow light on the dash all winter.
