I just bought a 2010 mazda 3 2.5 and I am looking to lower it about an inch but I dont have a lot of money to drop on suspension. What are your recommendations?

If you aren't racing or anything just get a lower end coilover set (such as raceland/Godspeed etc). Lowering springs if you just want to take the “cheaper” route... in the beginning. In the end it will cost as much no matter which one you chose to do.
