Just out of curiousity... what would happen if you didn't spend the money on the new turn signal tree?

Would the fog lights just turn on with the regular lights? ??? ?

That was the first thing I tried, and nope. The low beams must be on for the fogs to kick in.

That's how it is set up with the cars that actually come with it, but it's good to know that it hasn't changed with this mod. I assumed it wouldn't, but you never know sometimes!!!

Amazing thread was debating on doing this, defiently going to do this once it get a little more money. But I was wondering if any one has seen a fog kit with the mesh bumper insert. Like Below: View attachment 476

It is not a matter of which one looks better, it is a matter of which trim you have. The one that you show in the picture is for the s trim, where the ones in this guide are for the i trim. The front fascias are slightly different, and the s trim comes with fogs where the i trim does not, thus the difference in the styling.

I don't think anyone makes a fog light kit for the 3i's yet. Someone might eventually, but nothing now.

I do think the one in the pic looks better. I think the mesh look more aggressive and more natural than the one from the 3i install. The reason being is it was developed to be there. I think what xX StitcH is saying is if you didn't get fogs because you have the 3i and not the 3s you are stuck with the one from the install guide since there are no other aftermarket parts in this category.

It is a little much but it is OEM!!! I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for! (obviously there are exceptions)

Bumper weighs like around 10 pounds. At first i thought it was heavy and i almost ripped it off the car with one hand lol.

Oh and I spent 280 for my kit, i think thats around what you might have spent jleal

@Mikeofalltrades : If i put a blue tint overlay over my 3000ks HiDs will it produce a lime green light?

Mixing light is different than mixing paint. You can look up a lighting color chart to attempt to find the color you are looking for!
