2010 3 2.5 5 door that started having a lot of creaking and banging in the back with uneven surfaces, usually slow speed like parking lots. So far have replaces sway bar end links, put on Koni Str.t shocks with new rear shock mounts. The shocks seemed to help for a day or so but not completely and then seemed to get worse again over the next week.

Any other ideas? Front struts are the stockers still. Planning to change soon.

my old 03 protege 5 did that too never did figure out what it was, changed swaybar links sway bar bushings struts and other things but nothing helped, it always sounded to me like the swaybar and the bushings rubbing slightly or moving and allowing metal on metal contact with the brace and swaybar. it was annoying but did not effect driving or handling so i eventually just ignored it.
