We have some 2007 OE Mazda-3 16" Alloy rims that we put snow/Winter tires on. We are getting ready to purchase a new 2017 Mazda-3 Hatchback with 16" alloy rims. Will the 2007 rims mount on the 2017 vehicle? Will the 2007 tire-pressure units on those rims cause any issues when installed on the 2017. In both cases these are the entry-level alloy wheels (one trim level above the steel-wheel/hub-cap wheels).

Thanks!

They should fit. And the 17 doesn't use wheel mounted TPM sensors, so I don't think the old ones should affect it.

Sent from a Samsung that doesn't explode.

The gen3 have a 5 x 4.5 wheel pattern with a 67.1 bore (I think).

The main concern would be your offset. Gen3 uses 50mm, not sure what a 2010 uses.

As mentioned the newer cars don't use TPM sensors. So if they work, I'd pull them and save them for the 2010 that needs them.

Both vehicles are identical in fitment except offset, if it were me I would run a 3 to 5mm spacer behind the 2007 rims.

Gen 3 (BM);
PCD - 5 x 11.4
Offset – ET50
Centre Bore – 67.1
Lug size – M12 x 1.5

Gen 1 (BK);
PCD – 5x114.5
Offset – ET52.5
Centre Bore – 67.1
Lug size – M12 x 1.5
