My name is Nicolas. I'm 17 and on my red Ps and from Australia. I own a 2006 Mazda 3 sedan and am looking for some mods to put on it so it doesn't look bland and since it's stock. I already have a few that I've been looking at on carID. The car is in at most perfect condition as it was previously owned by my grandmother.
The following are what I'm looking at getting (for a total of roughly 1800)

New steering wheel (NRG Innovations - 3-Spoke Reinforced Steering Wheel with Round Holes and Center Mark)
New seats (Cipher Auto - CPA1031 Series Reclining Steel Tubular Frame Racing Seats)
New Muffler (Vibrant Performance - Titanium Round Gray Exhaust Muffler)
Body kit (Duraflex - I-Spec Style Fiberglass Body Kit (Unpainted) (has paint options via product options))
Rear boot spoiler (T5i - Factory Style Rear Spoiler)

If there is anything else that you can think of, as I have a little bit of room to play with (under 2k, but plan on selling it later to work towards a 88' - 91' Silvia S13) please recommend it

I'd stay away from most body kits unless you are having a shop do a lot of work to make it all actually fit. (They usually leave large gaps)
Instead I'd look at front lips/grills/side skirts or rear valence to make it stand out from stock.
You can also find high quality model specific seat colors with different material and color options if your goal is mainly cosmetic/comfort.
You could get new wheels or change the color of the stock ones.

I did basic exterior mods as mentioned, lip/side skirts/rear decklid, intake/exhaust, switched most lights to pure white LED, switched the head unit to a 9in android screen, interior accent lighting, added subwoofer/amp, weighted shift knob and am happy driving it around as a daily.

Focus on changing what will make your experience more enjoyable and go from there.

Rear motor mounts, particularly if you have a manual, are my favorite mod for improving shift feel. You get a bit more vibration with stiffer mounts but both the shifter and clutch pedal just feel better to interact with. For under $200 you have a plethora of options although I would caution you against any that use polyurethane as a bushing material, which leaves your only options as the VibraTechnics Focus ST mount, or the CPe Mazdaspeed3 mount. I went with the VibraTechnics because I also had their RMM on my previous car.
