Hi, I bought a Bluetooth adapter on ebay for my 2006 Mazda 3 but I don't know how to install it. I thought it was just plug and play. I removed the stereo and I plugged it but there are 2 additional wires, red and black.

The instructions are:

1.Insert the Black 12pin connector to the radio

2.Connect the red wire to 12V , the black wire to 12V-

3.Pair your phone or pad with bluetooth module.that time you will get a bluetooth Signal.

4.Choose Aux from your radio

5.You can use your phone to play music through car speakers.

I don't know how and where to connect the red and black wires.


Can anyone help?

Looks to be a power and ground wire. The red should probably go to a 12V power source to power up and power down when the vehicle is in the AC position or turned on completely (i.e. like like wired into a cigarette lighter). The Black seems to be a ground wire that really put on any unpainted metal surface such as a screw on the door frame.

I didn't have these kind of wires loose. They probably need to go the the connector. I used this video for the installation.

How do I connect them? Where/what is the connector?

There are 2 black/green wires. One is thin, the other is thicker. Which is the ground?
