Following an aftermarket radio install that blew a fuse or two (Because I'm not the brightest guy) my car turned back over only to find a power steering warning/failiure light on my dash. I'm currently driving old fashioned without power steering, but obviously I'd like to sort the issue out ASAP. I've pulled, checked and replaced every single fuse in this car, so I am confident it's no blown fuse. My suspicion is that the pump itself kicked the bucket, but a replacement is quoted at around 1000 CDN. I was wondering if maybe an ECU fault could be the culprit or if any of you have had other causes. I've read a few posts about resetting the ECU itself by either disconnecting the negative terminal and pumping the brakes, or also by turning my wheels all the way left than all the way right.
