Hi,

Simple question. Old car but new to me. LCD above the radio does not display anything so I have tried a couple from wreckers Both that I tested display the radio settings and I can get to and scroll through menu settings on the left hand side. On the right I can 'see' (in the right light) that the display is capable of displaying fan speed, outside temp, air recirculation etc, but the screen is blank. Before I go chasing features that will never display, can someone tell me what should be displaying?

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 BK, Australian spec 2.0l.
The climate control display only works with automatic climate control system, for standard air conditioning that side of the display won't show anything. You can get the outside temperature to display but you need to install the ambient temperature sensor which goes behind the front grill, Mazda part number is G51861764A.
