Hello Mazda Fam. I have a 2021 Mazda 3 with a 2.5 . Im looking to add a turbo to it. Any suggestions? For that and a tuner.

Thanks I definitely will, I don't think their is one at the moment so if I find one ill definitely do some hard research and weigh the cost.

Uh oh .... sounds like the Mazda marketing people haven't played up the whole 'turbo' thing very well.

It's not hard to find.. just requires a 5 second search of the current offerings.. some people are just to lazy to look.

There's a turbo kit out for the BK (gen 3) which you can try to custom install if you're savvy.

FYI the Turbo 3 from the factory has a ton of suspension and transmission changes to compensate for the turbo motor.

The exhaust, the intake manifold, everything is different. Not worth the cost imo. Probably void warranty too.

Just get the Supercharger kit, cheaper and easier install than a turbo kit and better for longevity, makes it faster than the 2.5T, there's about 40 of us running it now, adds 70-90wHP for ~$4,000

the 2.5T is a good motor for around town driving but with such a narrow power band it is not great in performance driving scenarios, disappointing to have the power fall off with rpm...
Maybe once there are actual tunes for it that can hold the power above 5000rpm then it won't be so bad, but as it stands it's really just an SUV motor.
