The amount of work of cutting the outlet wire from its current fuse and connecting it to an ignition fuse is more than just using an add a fuse to hardwire the dashcam from the ignition fuse.
12V outlet/fuse box question?
Hello,
So I was wondering how easy is it to change the 12V outlet from an always on outlet to one that is only turned on with the car?
I have a dash cam installed but it will only stop recording if the power is shut off. otherwise it will stay on and drain the battery.
If it isnt too much of a challenge, what would be the best approach to changing it?
