Hi guys. I was detailing the inside of my car today and notice microscratches all over the center piano black trim near the shifter. I will add some pics here in a few days. I am thinking about using some cutting compound to buff them out. We will see what happens...

I have some scratches (think came with the car) in the piano back trim. What is the best way to fix or clean this? Can the trim pieces be replaced with a different material without wrapping (which im not sure looks good). Thanks.

I am so done with the glossy black plastic trim; it scratches like crazy. I don't know if my microfiber cloth had something small embedded in it or what, but I noticed some more surface scratches on it over the weekend. Just found out the hard way that even with great care, the piano black trim is easily scratched. There was a smudge around the door handle trim piece, and I used a moist microfiber towel to remove it, then dried it with another microfiber towel. Thought I had it spotless, but shined a light on...
