Has anyone here installed the OEM aluminum pedals that Mazda sells? Based on the instructions, the installation looks easy enough, but I'm curious how well the install went and how well the pedals are holding up over time. CK

I've only had a few wet days here in southern california since I've had my 3, but I've noticed the clutch gets ridiculously slippery when wet. Is there anything to do to improve this, or is there a certain aftermarket pedal that deals well with rain?

Im thinking about painting the 3 pedals and the foot rest plate red to match the color of the car. Does anyone know how to get the pedals off, or is there a way to just get that aluminum plate off? I know the foot rest one is just 2 screws but the others i am unsure of.
