I bought this torque multiplier a few years ago and haven't gotten around to fabricating a handle for it. I had to figure a way to hold it in place to prevent rotation when applying force to the torque wrench.
Worked like a champ. Oh, and in case anyone needs to know, the torque values...
Anyone know the diameter and thread pitch on the nuts used with these? I’m looking into mil-spec distorted thread locking nuts to replace them with. Tired of these coming loose and clunking/popping on the slightest suspension compression on either side.
I need replacement lug nuts and I can't seem to get an answer from Mazda.
I found 12mmx1.5" but this was from amazon and jcwhitney.
Dealership wanted $9 per zinc nut :argh 1:
Does anyone know what is the actual size? Are amazon and jcwhitney correct?
Before anyone says 13/16" I am talking...
Looking to replace the boring ones with new colorful ones like blue. Just curious what are decent brands?
For example I found these which by reviews look fairly decent:
I guess my biggest concern is the pain coming off really quickly
So i am trying to put my cork sport exhaust on and I could not get the nut off the thing where the down pipe gets to the (manifold area?) and it is so tight and wd 40 didn't work and it is about to start stripping... any help?
Hey everyone. I Have a huge problem and Im trying to figure out the best way to tackle it. I had a guy from the dealership replace rotors and brake pads on my girlfriends car and when he went to mount the rim back on and screw the lugs back on, he cross threaded one of the lugs and snapped the...
This past weekend, my wheel lock key broke off in the wheel lock. I tried my best to get the broken key piece out of the lock but was unsuccessful doing so. It is really jammed up in there.
While I have a new key coming to me from McGard, I still need to find a way to get this wheel lock off...
I've been battling a "hydrocarbon" fumes smell problem for months. It smells like a mixture of crankcase blow by or exhaust. It feels slightly irritating to my throat when I breath it in.
This happens when the engine load is high. e.g. Hard acceleration or driving on sustained inclined...
How much should I torque my Mazda 3S GT 18" wheels?
I watched a mechanic at my dealership torque my lug nuts with a torque wrench today and I asked him how much torque he used. He said 102 ft-lbs(!). That seems pretty high to me. Is 102 the correct torque spec for our 2014/2015 Mazda 3 18"...
Can anyone explain why the lug nut torque specification (for a '14 3i GT) is expressed not as a specific number but rather as a range? In this case it's said to be "80-108 lb.ft. / 108-147 Newton meters".
Attempting to remove a wheel today for the first time since taking delivery, I was unable...
Can someone tell me the lug nut size. I need to buy a socket for my torque wrench. All my tools are 'muhrican and I don't have any metric. All I know is that it's ever so slightly bigger than 13/16.
"Stock/OEM" Wheel size, offset, weight, bolt pattern, lug nut info needed!
Situation: I just bought a 2014 mazda 3 ISV 4 Door Sedan, which comes with factory oem 16 x 6.5 steel wheels with hub caps that look horrendous and are extremely embarrassing >.<
Goal: I want to upsize my wheels to...
So awhile back I black out my lip spoiler on my white 3. Apparently between then and yesterday one of the 2 nuts that hold it on has gone missing. (I know out of contacts this is hilarious) So the question is where can I get new nuts for the spoiler?
Opened my hatch and heard something fall, thought nothing of it closed my hatch ,and my wing was extremely lose. I took out the covers to the bolts of the spoiler and saw I'm missing a nut. I'm assuming my sub must have losened it and me closing and opening the hatch must have taken it off...
So my mazdaspeed3 wing was making alot of noise today so I decided to check the nuts to tighten them. Turns out one of them came loose and is missing >_< anyone know what size nut is used? Called my local Mazda dealership and they had no clue
Trying to take out the mid section of my exhaust, and I stripped a bolt...real bad too...
Can't get a nut cracker around it, can't get a vise grip around it, can't dremel it, not going to use heat...besides cutting...any other options?
