Does it matter much where the car is made, Japan vs Mexico? Was reading an article about the factory in Mexico.
I have 2017 Mazda 3 (Machine Gray) Vin # starting with 3MZB-----, so made and assembled in Mexico.
When I searching Right side mirror assembly and cover, they selling both "Mexico Built" & "Japan Built".
The Mirror cover Mexico built, they offer, DOES NOT have "Machine Gray", but only "Gray"...
I always thought these cars were all made in Japan. I just found out it was made in Mexico with the exception of the Transmission which is Japanese.
How many of the Mazda 3's were made in Mexico??
Mine is an 18' 2.5 Touring
Any difference or problems with the ones made in Mexico?
I am wondering if anyone has changed their brake pads on the 2017 Mazda 3 Sport, made in Mexico, with the electronic parking brake. I have a few questions:
1. Does the Ford "maintenance mode" instruction set floating around here actually work for our cars?
2. I know that made in Mexico...
I've searched a ton to figure out whether my car was built in Mexico or Japan. I've had people tell me "look for a certain code on the door jamb" and "check the VIN" but I don't seem to have a VIN decoder handy for my car.
Can someone just end this debacle and spoon feed me the way to figure...
I was planning on changing my own break pads as they are apparently worn. I looked around the forum and found out that the rear pads are the QC1679, so my question is which pads are for the front tires? and which break pads do you guys recommend in general (front and rear).
I'm new to this forum, I'm from Mexico and I'm buying a brand new 2018 Mazda3 GT, I hope I can get it next week.
I'm here to learn the most I can of this car because it will be my daily driver for at least 6 years. I'll start reading the entire forum before I get it.
I have a 2014 Mazda 3i touring 5 door 6MT. I bought the car used and had some brake shudder when I bought it so I knew the rotors were in bad shape, I ignored it for a few months as I didn't have the money at the time (the jeep needed it more). My first thought was to get the EBC greenstuff pads...
