Is there any direct shift knob replacements that don’t require a spacer under the boot like most of the post I have already searched?
I like the James Barone in particular but I am open to other suggestions of course.
I've seen these for sale on various sites and was wondering if these actually offered any kind of advantage over the OEM shift knob.

Also, what about short shift plates and shifter bushings? Are they worth the cost?

Hey guys, I currently have a 2014 mazda 3 and was looking to replace the climate control knobs. I found some on various sites like mazdacarpet and autolimo but they all have 2010-2013. Do any of you know where to get some for the 2014 or will 2010+ ones work fine with the 2014? Thanks a bunch!

This is the basic radio I will be using. It's a spare one that I happen to have laying around. These radios only come on the 2nd Gen MZ3 and MS3.
I really hate the old style knobs that the GS (in Canada) comes with. Would knobs like these from the pre 2014 models (link below) fit the 2014 model?

I paid 20 bucks...
A few months ago I started getting very fed up with my Mazda3's ergonomics, how the steering wheel was too far away and the shift knob is too close, causing me to "chicken-wing" uncomfortably when reaching to shift. To deal with it I ended up designing my own shift knobs that move...
