I was wondering if anyone new how to set up DRLs in a 2011 mazda 3. I just installed new Spec-D Tuning lights (part number 2LHP-MZ310JM-TM). I isolated the wire for the LED strip in it. But I'm not a wiring expert and don't know what I'm doing. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
So I have a 2014 S Touring, and I thought the Daytime Running Lights were supposed to include lights around the halo like this:
But instead, mine just look like this, with only a single broken line on each headlight:
Is there anyway I can get the halo DRLs?
I traded my 2015 sGT in for a 2018 GT and noticed the daytime running lights behave differently. The 2015 DRL's halo lights ran during the day, with the headlights off. On the 2018, the headlights are on along with the halos. I've ran through the settings with no luck of finding a solution.
Can I just replace the stock DRL bulb with an LED one?
I don't want to add any new light just replace the stock with LED. Which LED bulb is compatible? If someone can share a link to something they purchased it would help.
Found this from another thread. Thought this would be very useful on the how-to forum for people who want to disable their DRL.
HERE'S HOW TO DO IT:
1) car set to ignition (car is active, but engine is off)
2) press brake pedal down and hold during the whole time
3) parking brake up...
New to the forum.
I just purchased my second Mazda 3. This time an S Grand Touring 5 door in deep crystal blue.
So far I love the car but I want to turn off the daytime running lights.
Anyone know how to do this?
So modding had ceased for awhile on my car but luckily its starting back up again. Here is a pic of what it looks like now after 8 months of working on it:
Now back to ground zero and each mod 1 by one.
I guess you can say i did things backwards here is my car stock with the prototype VDI...
