I recently bought a 2017 Mazda 3 2.5L GT. Anyone know where i can get an additional set of badges? Just wanted to have a second set to mess around with different paint options. Looked on ebay and amazon but nothing says it'll work on a 2017. But are they actually different? Thanks in advance...
So I have removed my sky active badge and replaced it with a shiny new ' SkyActiv D' badge instead all the way from sunny Aus!
In Europe mazda don't not use these badges so i like my car to stand out:smile2:
don't know how to attach pics though!
I've taken the skyactive badge off of my 2015 Mazda 3 and love the look. I am also wanting to remove the "mazda3" badge, but only if it is a stick on only. Can anyone confirm this?
I am seeing conflicting information online. (And haven't been able to find a thread on the topic)
So today I debadged my 3. I used a heat gun for 20-30 seconds or so, fishing line, and then Turtle Wax adhesive remover, cotton cloth and alcohol with paper towel to get all the excess glue off.

I pulled off my rear badges n sprayed them black n very happy with the finished product
Primer and paint I used. ( realy good stuff have used thes products on all my cars)
2 coats of primer to stop peeling
3 coats of acrylic flat black paint
Finally finished up with all my badges.
Took the 3 and 2.5 off, Cut the Evil M, and sprayed them all Gloss Black.
I also sprayed the inside of the front badge white so that the badge pops more. I think it turned out good.

Well, after spraying down the front badge, I didn't like it. I'm no stranger to a can of spray paint, but this shit was impossible to...
Check it out, some shitty pictures of what I did the last two days. I got rid of all the nasty chrome on the car (yes, even on the smile) and put in some LEDs. Next is...
And a pic of the badges...
That's my baby, more to come.
Has anyone ever done this before? I'm wondering what else can be done besides taking it to a body shop and having them fill them in.
Also, I was wondering if anyone who is decent with photoshop could do something for me? I wanting to remove either the mazda badge and the axela badge, or all 3...
